Thank you for supporting our food concession at the Rodeo !!!!

Join us on June 14th and 15th for pancake breakfast at the Rodeo. The Humane Society will be running a food concession and we will also participate in the parade with a float.



Thank you very much to ED DERKATCH who kindly donated this beautiful deacon's bench to The Pas and Area Humane Society. It is made of spruce and cedar, our own "Manitoba Mahogany". We are selling tickets for the raffle to take place  July 1st, 2008. Thank you for your support.

                  






The 2008 Annual Trade Show was a success for The Pas and Area Humane Society.
A big Thank You to all the volunteers and everyone that took a moment to say hello to some of our current residents: Cassie, the beautiful bullmastiff; Camille, the cat and her playful kittens Blinky and Pancake.

Grades K-12     1st Prize-$20.00 and Certificate
                         2nd Prize-$10.00 and Certificate
                         3rd Prize-$5.00 and Certificate
                         4th Prize- Honorable Mention Certificate

Grades 3-5  Same as above

Grades 6-8  Same as above

Posters must be turned in to The Pas and Area Humane Society by 6 PM on Friday May 2nd.
All posters will be hung in the Uptown mall and judged on Wednesday May 7th.
Winning posters will be displayed at the Humane Society booth at the Trade Show.
Winners can pick up their prize money there.

We would like to thank The Grub Box, Extra Foods and Otinika Mall for giving us space to sell tickets, and to B & C Power Products for hauling the ATVs back and forth over the last few months.

Important Notice
Royal Canin, a large pet food company with a warehouse in Winnipeg would like to donate food to help support our shelter in The Pas.  The only problem is that we need to be able to get the food from the city to here.   The amounts of available food would change from month to month as they donate food to support many shelters cross the province, varying from a few bags that would fit in a car trunk to a pallet load of food that would require a pick-up truck to haul. Having this food would really help us provide for the animals in our care...if you or anyone you know will be traveling down to the city and might have room to bring back food, please email us or phone Bonny @ 682-7223.
